Women ICT Freelancer and Entrepreneur Development Program: integrating into the supply chain. Project launch at Bhaluka on 16 May 2015.

Women ICT Freelancer and Entrepreneur Development Program: integrating into the supply chain. Project launched at Bhaluka on 16 May 2015, Saturday - Bangladesh Women in Technology, SME Foundation, Access to Information – Prime Minister’s Office. I wasn't ready for this. What I saw was overwhelming. It was an amazing experience, however much you talk about skills, training, inclusive growth or integration into the supply chain I wasn’t ready with what I saw. I was awed at their enthusiasm and interest to learn – to be part of the knowledge industry. I saw passion and delight among the trainers. They are already involved in outsourcing, working from home for projects overseas two of the many emerging freelancers in Bangladesh. One of them had her daughter with her while giving presentation. I saw massive energy during inauguration of the Project at Baluka Union Parishad Conference Room. I am certain by providing more opportunities for women in their value chain, we can create entrepreneurs and bring women into the work force. We know it is a daunting task, but worth a try. Way to go girls!!
